We talked with the painter today at lunch and thought we had a clear plan. Then as we were taking this picture, a DIFFERENT painter showed up and said he was our painter. I texted our site foreman, then left a voicemail (over the top? Maybe... But I didn't have the answer this guy wanted) It got really awkward because he was upset and kept asking about our name and address. Our field manager called me back and I had him talk to the different painter. Different painter stayed and talked about his 30+ years of experience, but I just wanted to know what I was supposed to do. (And I wanted to put dinner in the oven for my family, but I digress...)
He left and I am under the impression he isn't our painter... Sorry for the news painter man! Not my fault and not our foreman's fault either! Miscommunications happen. We are adults and we know this. Next please!?
The drywall is looking so nice. Siding is supposed to be started tomorrow and I cannot believe it! They will prime on Monday. We are loving how this is coming together! We know that first night after we have watched a movie snuggling on the couch with our little ones and we have all gone to bed, all of the chaos and stress that anyone goes through while building a house will be worth it.
This has been a crazy hectic week. Here's to hoping the finish line is close!
