As we were talking, the painter called the electrician and told him not to finish or hang anything because they weren't don't painting yet.
After our electrician got off of the phone, he said it looked like he will have to reschedule yet again for next week (3rd time now) to do final electric BUT they would work on the basement and possibly the exterior lights today. He said it was our project manager's fault, but I told him about the painters... Oh well. It is what it is.
The stone mason came back to fix the fireplace hearth that came apart. I don't think I mentioned that before.
The painters are supposed to be here today to do the trim.
Progress.
Update: today, our fireplace hearth was fixed and the grout was cleaned up, our propane tank was picked up, some of our electric was finished in the basement, a few fixtures installed on the outside, and the trim was painted antique white. We really like the color of the trim!
The painter will be back tomorrow to do walls and at least prime doors if not bust out our paint for them. They would like to be done by Saturday.
We Can't wait for this to all come together! Hard floors next week, carpet the following, and then it's move time!
